Dynamic steering response : ウィキペディア英語版 | Dynamic steering response
Dynamic steering response (DSR) is a car safety technique that corrects the rate of hydraulic or electric power steering system to adapt it to vehicle's speed and road conditions. Similar to DIRAVI, this system was first featured in the SEAT Leon Cupra R and has since been used in a wide range of models including the Ibiza, Cordoba, new Leon, Altea and new Toledo. == Working ==
It works through a precisely controlled electric motor, which is mounted on top a hydraulic steering gear. For the motor's control, it picks up the data at 2000 times a second (as in Volvo truck FM Series) based on the input from the driver, and from the on-board sensors. Its purpose is to provide precise steering control in every situation.
